Make It Monday- Halloween Candy Craft for American Girl 18" Dolls

Make It Monday- Halloween Candy for your Dolls

This is a fun time of the year for crafting Halloween Items for your dolls, Today I wanted to show you how you can make a variety of treats for your dolls.
To make your own doll sizes treats you will need:

-Orange and Black Fun Foam
- Small Halloween Stickers
-Construction Paper
-Small craft sticks or tooth picks
-Tape
-Glue Stick
-Scissors
-Duct Tape in Candy Corn Theme
-A zip lock baggie
-Tin foil

To make the dolly lolly pops :
Step 1- Find small round or square Halloween stickers that are the same size. I got mine at the dollar store.
Step 2- Use a small craft stick or tooth pick as your base
Step 3- Peel one sticker and place on the craft stick
Step 4- Place another sticker on the opposite side

Step 5- From the bottom of your plastic zip lock bag cut enough of the plastic to cover your lolly pop.
Step 6- Slide your lolly pop inside and tape the sides closed. Trim the tape. Repeat on the rest of your lolly pops.

To make the doll sized candy corn:

Step 1- Cover a piece of orange fun foam with a strip of duct tape.
Step 2- Cut out pieces of the candy corn from the strip.
Step 3- Cut a small square from the top of your zip lock bag and place your fun foam candy corn inside
Step 5- Tape your candy corn bag sides and your treat is ready for your doll

To make doll sized candy bars:
Step 1- Cut small two inch rectangles from your brown fun foam.
Step 2- Tear a piece of tin foil and cover each of the rectangles.
Step 3- Cut small strips of construction paper to be the wrapper of your candy bar, wrap around your foil, so that some of the foil shows. Glue or tape into place
Step 4- Put a small Halloween Sticker on the front of the wrapper

Step 5- If you want to make a few bars that look like your dolls are eating the candy bar, cut teeth marks in the top corner of one of your candy bars and do not fully cover the bar with foil.
I look forward to sharing more craft ideas with you soon!~ Karen Owen aka Karen Mom of Three
