Make It Monday! A Felt Football For Your Dolls
Karen here and it is Make It Monday again! Today I am sharing how to make an easy Felt Football for your dolls.
To make your own you will need:
-Dark Brown felt
-White Felt
-A Glue Gun
-Stuffing such as fiberfill or tissue
-Scissors
-Paper
-Pencil
Step 1- Assemble all your supplies and draw shape on your paper that looks like mine above. Mine is 4 inches long through the center and 2.5 inches wide through the center. Cut it out this is your football pattern.
Step 2- Cut out for pieces of brown felt using your pattern piece.
Step 3- Plug in your glue gun and heat it up.
Step 4- Cut out 8 1 inch long very thin strips of felt to be your stitches and one 2.5 inch long thin piece of white to glue over the stitches.
Step 4- Run a line of glue down one edge of your felt shape and press another on top. Repeat on each of the felt until you have glued three pieces on.
Step 5- Attach the last piece along one side as you did in the previous steep, leaving one side open to stuff.
Step 6- Stuff your felt pocket and then add the last line of glue and seal your football.
Step 7- Trim the edges of your ball. Add more glue if you happen to open the seams as you go.
Step 8- Glue on the eight stitches and then Glue on the longer strip. Let dry.
Step 9- Give to your dolls to play! I used a flesh tone elastic to get the dolls to hold the felt ball.
* The Football figures were in my son's happy meal from McDonald's and are perfect for doll play!
I hope you enjoyed today's Make it Monday Post!

Make It Monday! Create The Perfect Cake For Your Dolls!
Today's Make it Monday Post is inspired by the little cat food tins that I have had in my recycle bin as one of our cats needed surgery and we had to hide her medicine in the wet cat food. She is on the mend and I found that the little tins were the perfect size for a Dolly Cake!
To make your own you will need:
-A small washed cat food tin
-Duck Tape in Pink, Purple and Green (Or any color you prefer)
-Rick Rack Trim (I got mine at Michael's)
-A Glue Gun with glue stick
-Scissors
-Beads with letters on them
Step 1- Assemble all of your supplies. Cover the bottom of the can, which will now be the top of your cake, with duck tape. Cover the sides as well.
Step 2- Plug in and heat up your glue gun. Un roll your rick rack and glue into place along the top and bottom edge of your your "cake"
Step 3- Create roses for your cake with an additional color of tape. Fold tape over on to it's self and cut strips of tape that you roll and glue as you go. Make a few different sizes and glue into place on your cake.
Step 4- Use some green tape to cut out leaves and glue them into place as shown in the photo above.
Step 5- Glue letter beads to spell Love or your dolls name into place and your dolly cake is ready to serve!
