Make It Monday! Duck Tape Tea Cup And Saucer For Your Dolls

It is Make It Monday! Today I am sharing with you my Duck Tape Tea Cup and Saucer I made for Ivy. On Friday I hosted a Dolly and Me Tea Party on my front lawn and today's craft is inspired by the fun we had.
For those of you who may not have your own dolly tea set you can easily make your own using today's tutorial.
To make your own Duck Tape Tea Cup and Saucer set you will need:
-Duck Tape Brand Duck Tape in your favorite pattern
-A Pencil
-A piece of cardstock or cereal box cardboard
-A Small plastic cup (sold at the dollar stores as shot glasses or if you can find the communion cups they are better as they are smaller)
-A pair of scissors

Step 1- Assemble all your supplies
Step 2- Place your roll of Duck tape on your card stock, use a pencil to trace the inside circle of your Duck Tape Roll.
Step 3- Cut out your circle
Step 4- Fold your circle in half and then in half again as shown in the photos above, then unfold it.
Step 5- Use your scissors to cut almost to the center of your circle and repeat on each of the 4 lines you made.
Step 6- Slightly fold over the edges you cut and tape them to each other as shown in the photos above, this will make your paper not be flat and have a saucer shape.
Step 7- Cover your saucer with Duck Tape and trim and tuck as you go. You can cover the white part on the underside with more tape.
Step 8- Place your cup in the middle of the saucer you just made and press down making an indent.
Step 9- Remover the cup and start making the cup handle remove two inches of tape from your roll and fold it into it's self creating a snake like piece. Bend it into a handle shape and use a thin strip of duck tape to hold the handle to the cup. For the "fancy" bend at the bottom of the handle make a small loop of Duck Tape and press it in between the handle and the cup.
I hope you enjoyed today's Make it Monday craft! I look forward to sharing more ideas with you again soon!~ By Karen Mom of Three aka Karen Owen
