We are going to feature the best pins for creative American Girl 18" Doll creative ideas and bring them to you here. So let's all get inspired..
The first pin I wanted to share was this really creative bookshelf or old dresser doll closet. I have seen so many bookshelves and old dressers at garage sales for $5-$10. So not only is this functional but very cost effective. I also love that they used tensions rods to hang the clothes on. So easy, no hammering or extra building.
And what little girl would not want a doll closet this big. It's also an easy way for them to see what they have. My daughter has all her doll clothes stuffed in drawers right now and I can never remember what clothes she has. I really love this idea and I hope you do too. :)
P.S. I am going to look for a bookshelf or old dresser this summer at garage sales and give this a try.
I will post it when I am done.
Very neat idea! I tried to send you an invite, but I'm not sure it went through to you. I started a group/collaborative board for AG Ideas. I wanted you to be part and pin to the board. If you are interested here is the url: http://pinterest.com/kccoake/american-girl-doll-ideas/

I haven't made a bookshelf into a doll closet yet but it's definitely a goal once I'm in my own place. But one thing I do have that helps me keep my shoes super organized is one of those hanging jewelry organizers. Each little pouch is perfect for a pair of doll shoes. And mine has 6 bigger pouches at the bottom (it's double sided) perfect for boots. I keep mine in my closet right now but I think on the outside of your doll closet putting a 3M removable hook would be the perfect option for a shoe hanger.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great idea too. Thanks for sharing :)
